This is the ultimate tool for use with cam over style platform, climbing sticks, and now treestands that utilize a versa button. The PSH has been redesigned for 2025.  It is now lighter, more compact, stronger, and comes in one length to accomadate all tree types.
 
There are two options available. One is specific to platforms & treestands due to the force they apply when they are cammed over and set on the tree. The second option is specific for climbing sticks.  Both versions attach and operate the same. 
 
To attach simply find the small splice end loop and adjust to your versa button size, milk the rope and straighten both lines leading to the hitch which is where the amsteel is woven onto itself creating a self tensioning hitch.  Then slide the second castration band down towards the hitch and your ready to go.
 
Once at the tree you will lengthen the loop and pass the two lines around the tree securing to your climbing devices versa button.  The as you pull the slack out with the tag end (End with orange elastic) you work the line back taking out all the slack.  Once the slack is removed you cam over your platform or treestand per the manufacturer.  With climbing stick pull the bottom of the stick out before pressing downward on the stick. 
 
Each PSH is finished at the maximum length of adjustment out to 7.5ft.  It is advised to use the PSH at ground level and to always remain connected to the tree via your tree tether and/or linemans belt.
