These were created to eliminate the bulk of the standard ropes that come with Wildedge Stepps. These mods are made from 1/8” amsteel with a finished length of 8ft.  These ropemods come standard with a 1.5” loop which attach to the step by girth hitching them to either the left or right side of the crossbar.  These can also be used in lieu of webbing straps and on smaller versa buttons be utilized in the buckleless method.  To attach to your stick place the loop over the versa button (Some larger buttons make require removal for attachement).  Wrap the rope around the tree coming under the versa button and behind the rope.  Then wrap around the button and place a half hitch on the other side.  Remember to gradually apply weight before fully stepping onto you stick.  Each comes with a bungee to aid in storage and will reduce the bulk of your carry bag regardless of how many stepps you carry.
